BendUG is a small group of people with interests in Free/Libre Open Source unix-like operating systems.

This new Wiki-based web site is the first stage in an attempt to "reboot" the group to make it more active, fun, and structured. If you want a wiki login, just request one on the mailing list.

Some other things we need to think about getting squared away are a normal meeting time and a normal meeting location.  We need some place where we can set up computers to play with (think install clinics for newbies), has plenty of bandwidth (both ethernet AND wireless would be ideal), and doesn't mind us being there for extended periods of time once a month or so.  If anyone has ideas in this area, mention them on the mailing list or at [[bendug:meetings]].
